Making mistakes in course scheduling results in spending extra money and the delay of completion. What many people fail to understand is that there is no motivation on the part of the academic institution to make sure that a student graduates on time. Advisors are overwhelmed with large student loads, and the system is predicated on “the squeaky wheel gets the oil”. Dr. Tammy has personally heard stories from many students who have made these mistakes. These mistakes result in not only paying for extra tuition but also paying for additional housing and meal costs as well as a delay of graduation.
