In this 90 MINUTE workshop, Dr. Tammy Pao will assist incoming Freshman college students with crafting their Fall 2026 course schedule. This guidance is essential for all Freshman college students, particularly those who have an undeclared major.
We’ll Cover How To:
Determine YOUR degree requirements: In most colleges, access to personalized advisement is limited for incoming freshman. I will share effective strategies ensure you're on the right track from day one.
Navigate the Maze of Course Offerings: With so many options available, how do you choose the right one for you? I'll share insights and tips to help you make informed decisions about the courses that are right for you and your pathway.
Plan YOUR FALL 2026 Schedule: Your first year sets the tone for your college experience. I will assist with how to select courses that align with your interests, goals, and major.
Create Back-up Scenarios (in case courses are full or unavailable this semester): Freshman students typically find that not all of the courses they want or should take are not available. This makes planning contingencies extremely important.
