Dr. Tammy is on a mission to guide students through the continuum from high school to college to career by helping students plan effectively and find their right pathway.

Dr. Tammy is more than an education and career consultant; she has 15 years of experience in private industry combined with over 15 years of experience in academia.

Her multifaceted background provides the skillset to effectively prepare students to navigate the educational system and become gainfully employed.

She has a proven track record of effectively working with students to ensure on-time graduation, as well as helping teenagers and young adults find internships, entry-level career positions, and make successful career pivots.

Dr. Tammy’s personal mission is clear: To provide counseling support that is not found in schools and colleges.

She has observed first-hand the insufficiencies of education counseling as a student, teacher, professor, administrator, and parent.

Academic advisement and career counseling is experiencing a dire shortage of counselors and advisors at all levels of education. It is now a struggle to schedule even 15 minutes with a guidance counselor or academic advisor.

These shortfalls leave room for questions like:

  • How can a student be sure they’re enrolled in the right courses?

  • Who can they turn to if they want to change their major but their counselor or advisor is unavailable?

  • Where can they find guidance on deciding whether to pursue graduate school?

  • What support is available for navigating complex college pathways or exploring new academic interests?

Her passion for empowering students and effectively optimizing their skills drives her dedication to helping clients achieve their academic and professional goals.
